Dr. Evan Davies, PA-C earned his Doctor of Medical Science from the University of Lynchburg and his Physician Assistant degree from The George Washington University, School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Davies holds a special interest in infectious disease as well as expedition and travel medicine, and maintains a research focus on the traditional healing practices of indigenous societies worldwide.

Dr. Davies began his academic training at Cornell University where he concentrated in anthropology and geological sciences, and has conducted fieldwork throughout the United States, Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe and the South Pacific. He completed his Ph.D in cultural anthropology at Rice University where he concentrated on traditional Central African societies. 

He is a combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan and continues to serve in the United States Navy Reserves.

Dr. Davies is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Associates, the Royal Geographical Society, London, and the Explorers Club of New York.
