At PrimeDoc our goal is to make it easier for parents and kids to get the primary care they need without having to go multiple places or wait days or weeks to be seen. We are proud to offer a wide range of internal medicine and family medicine services for adults. We also provide pediatric well visits and vaccinations as well as sports and school physicals performed by board certified pediatric professionals. Aside from full pediatric care from infancy, PrimeDoc also provides immediate care for your children after hours and weekends. We can quickly diagnose and treat common pediatric health issues, so your child can get back to school and you can get on with your busy schedule.

Our comprehensive range of pediatric services include:

• Well-child exam: Regular well-child exams are essential for monitoring healthy growth, development and overall health. During these visits pediatricians will conduct thorough physical examination, provide immunizations, assess developmental milestones, provide age appropriate counseling on nutrition, safety and healthy lifestyle habits. 
• Sick visits: When your child is not feeling well, our compassionate team is here to provide timely and accurate diagnoses and effective treatment. Some of the most common reasons for acute sick visits include viral infections, tummy aches, cough, sore throat, ear infections, etc…
• Vaccinations: We believe in the importance of immunizations in preventing serious diseases and protecting your child’s health. We follow the recommended vaccination schedule to ensure that your child receives all necessary and age appropriate vaccines. To keep accurate records, we also participate in and register vaccinations at VIIS (Virginia Immunizations Information System). 
• Behavioral health: At PrimeDoc we recognise the importance of addressing behavioral and mental health concerns in children. Our team is well trained to address common behavioral and emotional issues such as anxiety, ADHD, and depression. We work closely with you and your child to develop personalized treatment and provide ongoing support to optimize your child’s health and quality of life. When necessary our providers will provide referrals to appropriate specialists and keep the continuity of care by collaborating with these specialists.
• Developmental assessment: As part of full pediatric services, we offer comprehensive developmental assessment to identify any developmental delays or concerns early on.
• Education: We believe in empowering parents with knowledge and information to make informed decisions about their child’s health. Our pediatrician takes time to listen to your concerns, answer your questions, explain diagnoses, treatments, preventive measures and provide guidance on topics such as nutrition, sleep safety and parenting strategies. 
• Sports and camp physicals: These are specialized physical exams conducted for children and adolescents who plan to participate in sport activities or attend summer camps. These physicals are designed to ensure the child’s safety and evaluate their overall health and physical readiness for participation.
